Mater Dei Knights of Columbus Council 8059 Founded by Blessed Michael J. McGivney, the Knights of Columbus empowers Catholic lay men to become faith-filled leaders in their families and community. Mater Dei Council 8059 stands shoulder to shoulder with more than 2 million brothers worldwide, growing in faith, courage, and charity. We host a breakfast on the 3rd Sunday of every month, and meetings for members are on the 4th Tuesday of every month. For more information, contact our Grand Knight, Gabe Hillebert, at 785-232-7744.
Altar Society The Mater Dei Altar Society is a dedicated group of women committed to supporting our parish through their time, talents, and treasures. They play a vital role in fostering community by organizing parish family events and providing meals for funeral dinners. In addition to their service, the Altar Society offers a supportive network for women of the parish, helping them navigate various stages of life together. Their contributions strengthen our church community and enrich the spiritual lives of all parishioners. To learn more, contact our President, Merrill Befort, at 785-806-7098. St. Benedict's Circle St. Benedict's Circle is dedicated to embodying the timeless principles of the Rule of St. Benedict, which highlights the importance of prayer, work, hospitality, reverence, moderation, and stewardship. We take pride in supporting those in need by serving the Mater Dei community and its surroundings through thoughtful meal preparation and planning. Furthermore, we offer a welcoming space for individuals to deepen their faith and foster meaningful connections. Our commitment is rooted in compassion and the collective pursuit of a life enriched by service and community. Contact our President, Elaine Allison, at (785) 221-0725.
